Mr. Oxley has not only represented clients in all stages of litigation, he also has substantial experience in the appellate process including evaluation of trial cases, preparation of filing of post-trial motions, filing and preparation of appeal briefs and arguing before Courts of Appeals. Mr. Oxley has handled cases not only locally in the First, Second and Twelfth Appellate Districts, but also has handled appeals through the Ohio Supreme Court.
A large segment of Mr. Oxley’s practice involves handling commercial disputes. Whether it is professional liability issues, commercial transaction issues or contract disputes, Mr. Oxley has handled hundreds of lawsuits and transactions that provide him the extensive experience to assist clients. Furthermore, with his experience, Mr. Oxley’s ability to represent not only the largest of clients, but smaller company clients at a reasonable cost and expense to his clients.
Mr. Oxley works with clients of variety of experiences in large and small ventures. The appropriate business structure, whether it is through a limited liability company, corporation or partnership needs to be structured appropriately. Mr. Oxley has worked with business owners throughout Southwestern Ohio in helping them to decide the appropriate structure and operation of their business then implementing those strategies and business models.
HOA / COA
Mr. Oxley represents Home Owners Associations and Condominium Associations throughout Southwest Ohio. Fundamental to dealing with HOA/COA is to understand the operations of the community through its Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions and Code of Regulations. Mr. Oxley works with and communicates with Board Members and Associations to assist them in handling legal issues and legal complaints raised by residents throughout the communities. Moreover, Mr. Oxley not only assists Board Members of Associations, he assists Property Management Companies in reviewing legal matters before significant issues occur.
Mr. Oxley has handled both the defense and prosecution of personal injury cases, slip and falls, premises liability and automobile accident cases. Mr. Oxley has tried nearly one hundred jury trial cases to conclusion and has tried hundreds of cases through arbitration, mediation and bench trials. Mr. Oxley understands that clients should not be held to be responsible for the negligent conduct of someone else. He fights hard to make certain his clients receive appropriate compensation.
